Bridging Academia and Industry: shaping the future together

Dialogo università e imprese

Stante Logistics recently had the pleasure of joining an engaging session at the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara, hosted by the Faculty of Economics as part of the Master’s program in Economics and Management. The event offered a valuable platform to share our company’s journey and strengthen the connection between the academic world and the business community.

Sharing our experience with future economists

Stefano Sablone (General Manager) and Claudio Cuscito (HR Manager) walked students through the evolution of Stante Logistics — from a family-run operation to a business embracing a modern, managerial approach. It was a great opportunity to give students a real-world look at the dynamics of Italian entrepreneurship and the complexities of global trade.

Behind the Business: strategy and vision

During the discussion, we explored Stante Logistics’ business model and the strategic decisions that have helped us grow in an increasingly competitive international market. The session sparked a lively exchange with students, who came forward with thoughtful questions and a genuine curiosity about the industry.

Logistics and the role of economics graduates

We also touched on the key skills today’s logistics sector is looking for — and the many career paths open to graduates in Economics. By sharing our perspective, we hope to help students better understand where their degrees can take them and how they can add value in a fast-evolving field like logistics.
